Deleting your account

You can delete your Pasture account from inside the app, at any time, without asking us. Here is where the button is, what it removes, and how long it takes.

Deletion is not reversible, and an anonymous account has no recovery credential. Once it is gone, nobody can bring your lamb back, including us.

From inside the app

    Open You

    Tap the person button in the top right corner of the meadow.

    Choose Delete account

    It is the last row of the Account card, under Sign in or Sign out.

    Confirm

    Pasture asks once more, because this is not reversible. Confirming files the request and signs you out.

Your data is removed within 48 hours of the request. You are signed out straight away.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, and the random identifier it is keyed on.
  • Your email address and any linked Apple or Google identifier.
  • Your onboarding answers, including what you told the app about your wellbeing and your faith.
  • Your lamb: its name, its growth, and the meadow you built for it.
  • Your daily rhythm, your check-ins, the verses you kept and the series you walked.
  • Everything you wrote in the app: notes, prayers and reflections.

What does not go, and why

Billing and tax records
Where we are legally required to keep a record of a transaction, we keep it for as long as that obligation lasts. It holds nothing you wrote in the app.
Your subscription
A subscription lives with your Apple ID, not with your Pasture account. Deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel in your Apple ID settings, under Subscriptions.
Crash and analytics records
Kept for the limited retention period set with each provider, typically no more than 12 months, as the privacy policy describes. They never contain your onboarding answers.

If you no longer have the app

Write to support@getpasture.app from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We will verify it is yours before we act, which is a protection for you rather than an obstacle, and we respond within 30 days as the privacy policy commits to.

If you never signed in, there is no email to write from and nothing that identifies you as a person. Deleting the app removes the only link to that account.
