The short version
1. What this covers
This policy explains how money moves when you subscribe to Pasture, who to ask for a refund, and what happens to your access afterwards. It sits alongside our terms of service, and section 4 of those terms governs if the two ever disagree.
Plans, prices, and any free trial are shown on the purchase screen before you buy.
2. Purchases go through Apple or Google
Subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases. Apple or Google processes the payment, charges your store account, holds your payment details, and handles any refund. We never see your card number.
3. How to request a refund
Apple App Store
- Go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
- Find the Pasture charge, choose “Request a refund”, and pick a reason.
- Apple reviews the request and tells you the outcome, usually within a few days.
You can also reach the same place from your device, in Settings under your Apple ID, then Media & Purchases, then Purchase History.
Google Play
Request a refund from your Google Play order history, at play.google.com or in the Google Play app. Google Play’s refund policies apply. If Google directs you to the developer, write to us at the address below and we will review your request.
4. Free trials
If a plan includes a free trial, its length is shown before you start and nothing is charged during it.
- A trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- If you have allowed notifications, we may remind you before a trial ends. Do not rely on the reminder: the trial converts whether or not one arrives.
- If you buy a subscription while a trial is running, the trial ends immediately and the unused time is forfeited.
- Depending on the store, cancelling during a trial may end your trial access straight away.
5. Cancelling
Cancel on iPhone or iPad from your Apple ID settings, under Subscriptions, or on Android from the Google Play app, under Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation stops all future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep your subscription until then.
6. What happens to your access
- If you cancel, you keep your subscription until the end of the current billing period, then lose access to subscription features.
- If Apple or Google grants you a refund, your subscription access ends straight away. A refunded period is not a period you keep.
- Your account and what you have told the app are untouched either way. Losing a subscription does not delete anything.
- If a refund is reversed, your access is restored automatically.
7. Restoring a purchase you already made
If you have paid but the app does not show your subscription, for example on a new phone or after a reinstall, you do not need a refund. Open the You tab and choose “Restore purchases”. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google account and will come back.
If it does not, that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Write to us before asking for a refund and we will help sort it out.
8. Where we can help
We cannot issue an App Store refund, and any page telling you otherwise would be wrong. What we can do is real:
- Confirm what you were charged for and when, so your refund request is accurate.
- Fix a broken subscription, which is usually the actual problem behind a refund request.
- Support your case with Apple or Google, in writing, if something went wrong on our side.
Email support@getpasture.app with the email address of the store account that made the purchase, roughly when it happened, and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy takes away a right the law gives you. If you are in the EU, the UK, or another place with a statutory right of withdrawal or a consumer guarantee that is stronger than what is described here, that right applies and this policy does not limit it.
