These terms are an agreement between you and Scaleswift Digital Services LLP (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the Pasture app and everything in it. By using Pasture you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. Who may use Pasture
You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 where the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for consenting to online services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Pasture with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
Pasture creates an anonymous account for your device on first launch so what you set up is saved without you having to sign up. You may attach a real identity later using Apple, Google, or an email code.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
3. What Pasture is
Pasture provides daily Christian devotion and simple acts of care (prayer, scripture, reflection, check-ins, and seven-day series) alongside a lamb that grows as you tend it. Content is general devotional material.
We may add, change, or remove features and content at any time. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
4. Subscriptions and payment
How billing works
- Pasture offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions, and some features may require one. The length, price, and any free trial of each plan are shown on the purchase screen before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID, or to your Google Play account on Android, at confirmation of purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- A free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and interval unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Any free trial period ends immediately if you buy a subscription during it. Unused trial time is forfeited.
Managing and cancelling
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings, under Subscriptions, or on Android in the Google Play app, under Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the app, or your account, does not cancel a subscription. Use You › Restore purchases in the app to recover an active subscription on a new device.
Refunds
App Store purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly. Google Play purchases are refunded under Google Play’s policies. Our refund policy explains how to ask.
Prices may change. Any change applies from the next renewal after we tell you, and never to a period you have already paid for.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, resell, or redistribute the content, or use it to build a competing product.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Interfere with the service, bypass paid access, or attempt to reach accounts or data that are not yours.
- Use automated means to extract content at scale, or to probe or manipulate any automated feature.
6. Ownership
The app, its content, its design, its characters, and its trade marks belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Pasture for your own non-commercial use. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of anything to you. What you enter in the app stays yours; you allow us to store and process it to provide the app, as our privacy policy describes.

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why, and forms part of these terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pasture is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using Pasture at any time and ask us to delete your account, using You › Delete account in the app or by writing to us. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability) do so.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do, and we will tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use Pasture after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, which it may.
12. Apple
These terms are between you and us alone. Apple is not a party to them and is not responsible for Pasture or its content.
- Licence: we grant you a non-transferable licence to use Pasture on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
- Support: we are solely responsible for support and maintenance. Apple has no obligation to provide either.
- Warranty: we are solely responsible for any warranty, whether express or implied. If Pasture fails to conform to a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Pasture.
- Claims about the app: we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to Pasture, including product liability, any failure to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or privacy law.
- Intellectual property: if a third party claims that Pasture infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- Export: you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Enforcement: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
